THE GIVING GARDEN

Good things grow when we grow together.

For more than two decades, neighbors have tended this patch of earth and shared its harvest with our local food bank.

The Giving Garden produces fresh vegetables for neighbors who need them. Its raised beds also bring community gardeners together around the simple pleasure of growing something good.

A harvest to remember

In 2023, the garden produced 700 pounds of beans, zucchini, potatoes, tomatoes, and more for the local food bank. Every season begins again with willing hands and a little care.

Come lend a hand

Help plant, water, tend, or harvest. You do not have to be an expert gardener to take part. Contact the office about current volunteer needs and community plots.

The Giving Garden is at 300 Lamington Road, across from the church and behind the old schoolhouse. It is one small place where faith becomes something you can see growing.
